Something New Just Walked In

We don’t add brands often. When we do, there’s a reason.

Oncept is a New York-based sneaker brand built around a simple idea: own less, choose better. Their sneakers are retro-influenced, lightweight, and genuinely comfortable — the kind of shoe that works as hard on a travel day as it does running errands around West Michigan.

We’re carrying three men’s styles to start.

The Tokyo is the flagship — a minimalist trainer that’s as close to weightless as leather and recycled nylon gets. The Fez is the court sneaker, built on Italian nubuk with a dual-density memory foam footbed and a honey-toned translucent outsole that gives it just enough edge. The Toronto splits the difference: a hybrid of the two, made almost entirely from recycled materials, for the guy who wants versatility without thinking too hard about it.

On the sustainability side, this isn’t marketing language. Recycled EVA midsoles, Tencel linings, organic cotton laces, recycled nylon uppers, and leather sourced from LWG Gold Rated tanneries. The speckle you’ll notice in the outsole? That’s the recycled EVA — factory waste that would’ve gone to a landfill, turned into a signature detail.

On sizing: the Tokyo runs true to size. The Fez and Toronto can run a touch generous — if you’re between sizes or on the wider side, half a size down is worth considering. As always, we’re happy to help you find the right fit in the store.

Prices run $275–$325. All three styles are in the store now.

Come see them.
